What materials do you use?
Our earrings are made from 14k gold filled and sterling silver 925 wire, all of which is 100% nickel free and hypoallergenic. Swarovski crystal, real stones and cubic zirconia are used as well.
How do I clean them?
*The best homemade jewelry cleaning solution is a mixture of a few drops of Dawn dish detergent in warm, not hot, water.
Let the piece sit in the solution for a few minutes, longer if it’s very dirty, then gently scrub with a new, baby-size, soft toothbrush. To rinse, place the item in a new container of warm water.
Make sure the water isn’t too hot or too cold, as some gemstones do not take well to drastic changes in temperature.
You can dry the piece off with a paper towel or a regular cloth, as long as you’re careful not to snag the prongs on the fibers.
*Or you can do it ,with a polishing cloth. Do not use polishing cloths or any chemicals on the surface of stones. Instead, wipe them with a soft cloth.
*There is a left and a right side earring. The curve of the earring should match the curve of your ear.
1. Hold the Ear bobby pin with the backing wire on top. Place the wire in the piercing of your ear. Push the Ear bobby pin all the way in and down.
2. Roll the Ear bobby pin up and pull the earlobe between the wire and the beads. Continue to pull the earlobe through from the bottom of the ear to the top until the Ear bobby pin is in the proper position. This can be done with both hands or even one hand!
3. To take the Ear bobby pin off just slide it down off the lobe!
You will never need to ‘bend the Ear bobby pin!
** in case you bend the wire or open the earring to big, it can be re-adjusted. Don’t forget they are like bobby pins they need to be little closed.
